How it works

  1. Copy the tweet URL containing the video. Find the tweet with the video you want to transcribe on Twitter or X. Click the share button and select "Copy link," or copy the URL from your browser. Both twitter.com and x.com links work.
  2. Select the language. Choose the language spoken in the Twitter video clip. For short-form video tweets, accurate language selection is especially important since there is less audio context for the model to work with.
  3. Transcribe the tweet video. Hit Transcribe and DomeScribe will extract the audio from the embedded video in the tweet and process it through speech recognition.
  4. Export your transcript. Once the transcription is complete, copy the text for use in threads, quote tweets, or articles — or download the text file for your records.
