Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.

Annual billing is about 30% cheaper. Pro is $13 a month billed as $156 a year instead of $19 a month; Business is $55 a month billed as $660 a year instead of $79 a month. Both renew automatically until canceled.

Your transcripts stay available for 30 days after a downgrade, the same as always — export anytime to keep your own copy. Extracted and converted files aren't stored long-term regardless of plan; running the job again simply re-creates them.

Extra transcription minutes for Pro and Business subscribers: 200 minutes for $5, 500 for $12, or 1,200 for $25. They are added as soon as payment confirms and are used after your monthly allowance runs out. Every pack costs more per minute than a subscription, so if you need more every month, upgrading is cheaper.

DomeScribe transcribes 99 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Arabic, Portuguese, and Korean. Transcripts come back in the language that was spoken.

Transcripts are encrypted at rest with per-user AES-256-GCM keys, and everything travels over TLS 1.3. Transcripts are deleted 30 days after they are created, and you can delete them sooner from your library.

No. The free plan gives you a one-time 30 minutes of transcription, 5 AI credits, and the browser tools (convert, compress, extract audio) — no card required. When you need volume, Pro adds 1,000 minutes a month, files up to 4 hours, DOCX/PDF/JSON export, and 300 AI credits.

Because the free plan lets you try DomeScribe before paying, paid refunds are limited. We will refund a subscription if you request it within 7 days of payment and have barely used it that billing period — 15 minutes or less of transcription and 10 or fewer actions like conversions or extractions — one refund per customer. Top-up minute packs are non-refundable once purchased. Genuine billing errors, such as a duplicate charge, are always refunded.
