Transcribe Podcasts to Text

Turn podcast episodes into readable text. Upload your audio file or paste a link to get a complete transcript in minutes.

How it works

  1. Paste the podcast episode URL or upload the file. Provide a direct link to the podcast episode, or upload the downloaded MP3 or M4A file. DomeScribe works with episodes from Spotify, Apple Podcasts, RSS feeds, and more.
  2. Select the episode language. Pick the language spoken in the episode. For interviews with guests who speak a different language, choose the language used most throughout the recording.
  3. Transcribe the episode. Press Transcribe and DomeScribe will process the full episode. Even two-hour recordings are handled efficiently, with progress displayed in real time.
  4. Export your episode transcript. Browse the completed transcript, then download it for show notes, blog companion posts, or SEO-friendly episode pages. Copy specific quotes directly to your clipboard.

Frequently asked questions

Can I transcribe a podcast directly from its RSS feed?

You can paste the direct MP3 URL from an RSS feed episode entry and DomeScribe will fetch and transcribe it. If the feed requires authentication, download the episode file first and upload it instead.

How does DomeScribe handle multi-host podcast conversations?

DomeScribe captures all spoken words from every participant in the conversation. While it does not label individual speakers, the continuous transcript preserves the full dialogue for note-taking or content repurposing.

Can I use podcast transcripts for show notes?

Many podcasters use DomeScribe specifically to generate show notes and companion blog posts. The transcript gives you a complete written record that you can edit down into summaries, pull quotes, or timestamped highlights.

Does DomeScribe handle podcast intros and ads?

DomeScribe transcribes everything in the audio, including intros, ads, and outros. You can easily identify and remove those sections from the transcript afterward during your editing pass.

What if my podcast episode is over two hours long?

DomeScribe is optimized for long-form audio and can process episodes well beyond two hours. Processing time scales linearly, so a two-hour episode takes roughly twice as long as a one-hour episode, but the result is just as accurate.
