How to generate show notes from a podcast episode
Add the episode
In Transcribe Studio, upload the audio file or paste the episode link. DomeScribe transcribes it with timestamps — most episodes take about a minute per ten minutes of audio.
Open Repurpose → Show notes
On the recording’s workspace, pick Show notes, choose a tone and length, and generate. The draft is written from the transcript, so names, numbers, and quotes match the episode.

What good show notes contain — and what DomeScribe writes
Show notes do three jobs: tell a listener whether the episode is for them, let them jump to the part they want, and give search engines and podcast apps text to index. DomeScribe’s show-notes format is built around exactly that: a two-or-three-sentence episode summary, timestamped chapters that map to the conversation’s real turns, a short list of takeaways, and the people, products, books, and links that were mentioned.
Because the draft is generated from the transcript rather than from a description you type, it captures what was said, not what you planned to say. The model is instructed to use only facts present in the transcript and to skip filler — it will not invent a guest bio or a link that was never mentioned.
Timestamps you can trust
Chapters in the show notes carry timestamps taken from the transcript’s own segment times, so a chapter marker lands where the topic actually begins. On the workspace, clicking a timestamp seeks the player to that moment, which makes checking the draft a one-minute job instead of a re-listen.
Tone and length, per draft
Pick professional, casual, or punchy, and short, standard, or long. Each combination is a separate draft, so you can keep a tight version for the podcast app and a fuller one for the episode page. Drafts are cached — reopening one you already generated costs nothing.
Privacy: what happens to the audio
Transcription runs on DomeScribe’s servers (audio is sent to the speech-recognition model and discarded afterwards). The uploaded file is deleted after transcription; the transcript is encrypted at rest with a per-user key and auto-deletes after 30 days unless you delete it sooner. A pasted platform link is used only to produce the transcript — DomeScribe never offers the media itself for download.
